Hi, I’m Austin Church!
Hi, I’m Austin L. Church, a freelance writer (16 years and counting!), fCMO, and brand consultant. I founded Freelance Cake in 2019 and have taught 1000s of freelancers how to stack up specific advantages and find their income-lifestyle sweet spot.

When and Where
Growth Without Burnout Summit will run from Tuesday, May 6 to Friday, May 9, and will have a variety of trainings and sessions to choose from each day. This event is entirely virtual, so you’ll be able to attend from anywhere in the world with internet access.

Attend presentations from our lineup of 20+ speakers with talks on lead generation, sales, and systems and processes. Your free ticket includes 48-hour access to each presentation during the week of the summit.

If you're ready to create and follow a solid business roadmap and finish the year on a high, then this event is for you. We’ll be specifically talking to more advanced freelance writers and focusing on organizing growth ideas into an actionable roadmap.
However, anyone else who wants to get started with taking a more methodical, process-oriented approach to growth is welcome to join us.
The main portion of the summit runs from May 6 to May 9 with a handful of “pre-party” sessions happening the week of April 28. You’ll also be able to join our private Circle community as soon as you register, so you can join in on the fun, learning, and camaraderie right away.
Most of the presentations for the summit are pre-recorded, but some sessions and other elements will happen live.
The pre-recorded presentations are available for 48 hours with your free ticket. We encourage you to attend live if you can.
We would also love for you to set aside some time during the summit week to watch the pre-recorded presentations, attend the live sessions, and participate with others who are creating their 1-page growth roadmap.
Even if you’re not able to attend all of the sessions live, go ahead and grab your free ticket, and you’ll have the opportunity to upgrade to the VIP Pass for extended access.
Your free ticket includes 48-hour access to each of the presentations. If you need more time, you can always upgrade your ticket to the VIP Pass after registering. It will give you extended access to the presentations, as well as other premium bonuses.
No. To avoid tech glitches and create the best overall experience for speakers and attendees, we decided to do pre-recorded sessions. They’ll be released at scheduled times during the summit. However, many of the speakers will be hanging out in our private Circle group with dedicated threads where you can connect with them and ask your questions. There will also be opportunities to join us for bonus live events throughout the week of the summit.
No. When you register, you’ll be added to the Freelance Cake email list so we can send you updates about the event and share links to each day’s presentations. After the summit is over, you’ll continue to hear from us, but you can unsubscribe at any time.
As for speakers and sponsors, they will have free resources available that you can access by providing an email address. They won’t get your email address unless you choose to give it to them. That way, you only hear from the people you really love and don't have to worry about getting added to 20+ email lists that you're not interested in.
